Dosari ("we", "us") helps caregivers coordinate medication for the people in their care. We take privacy seriously, especially because the app handles health-related data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, used to create your account and invite caregivers. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from that provider to create your account.
- Care data (health data) — the people you care for, their medications, schedules, and a log of doses given (who, what, when).
- Identifiers — an account/user identifier and a device identifier (push notification token) used to keep your account, real-time sync, and dose reminders working. We do not use these for advertising or cross-app tracking.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the core service: a shared, real-time medication log across every caregiver you invite.
- To send dose reminders and notifications you've enabled.
- To keep the service secure, reliable, and free of abuse.
We do not sell your personal or health data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
3. Encryption & storage
Health data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the caregivers explicitly invited to a care group and to the limited personnel required to operate the service.
4. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account); see also Delete your account. After deletion, data is removed from active systems and purged from backups within a reasonable period.
5. Children's data
Dosari is designed for adult caregivers. Information about a minor in your care (for example, a child's medications) is entered and controlled by the responsible adult. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email privacy@dosari.app.
7. Third-party services
We use a limited set of service providers strictly to operate Dosari — cloud hosting, push notification delivery, and authentication (Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In when you choose them). They are bound to handle data only on our instructions and do not receive your data for their own advertising.
8. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
